Jimmy Nelson – “I Sat and Cried” from the album “Theme Time Radio Hour”
Jimmy Nelson was born on 7 April 1919 in Philadelphia. On finishing high school he rode the rails eventually ending up in Oakland, California where he met Joe Turner, who taught him about singing, performance and the music business. He died on 29 July 2007 aged 88.
