Li’l Millet & His Creoles – “Rich Woman” from the album “Heavy Sugar”

Born McKinley James Millet on 25 October 1935 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a bass player, singer and songwriter who was playing in bands by the age of 10 years old.

“Rich Woman” was written by Millet and Dorothy LaBostrie and released in November 1955.
Li’l Millet and the Creoles continued to perform in New Orleans until the 1980s.
He died of cancer in 1997.
