Lloyd Lambert – “Heavy Sugar” from the album “Heavy Sugar” (and also on “Jumping The Shuffle Blues”)
Lloyd was born 4 June 1928 in Thibodaux, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. He was bandleader and bassist (he pioneered the use of the electric bass) and his band backed Guitar Slim on all of his Specialty recordings.
He died 31 October 1995.
